Prefabricated concrete warehouse with ventilated timber façades

In Settimo Torinese a new logistics & production hall is being completed. The building combines a concrete prefab frame with timber frame infills and a ventilated façade system to boost energy performance and indoor comfort.

• Main frame: precast reinforced-concrete columns and beams
• Wall infills: laminated-timber platform frames with OSB sheathing and ventilated cavity
• Flat roof with glulam beams and high-performance insulation
• Ventilated façade cladding to limit thermal bridges and increase durability
• Interior fit-out: industrial flooring, electrical systems and LED lighting
• Fast erection thanks to off-site prefabrication
